30/06/2006 - AWOS systems complete at Nadi & Nausori International Airport, Fiji
MTECH engineers have recently completed the installations of 3 AWOS systems covering the highest traffic airports in the country of Fiji. The systems cover the Nadi and Nausori International airports and also another airport on the island of Savusavu. All weather monitoring sites are solar powered and equipped with wireless communications allowing for a quick, easy and economical deployment of the system.
21/05/2006 - Selected to supply AWOS for Hawler International Airport, Kurdistan
MTECH has been selected as a qualified sub-systems supplier for the MTECH will be supplying a fully featured AWOS system complete with RVR, ATIS, Cloud detection, standard weather monitoring and customized display displays. The project is expected to be completed by November 2006.
12/05/2006 - MTECH successfully installs AWOS at Leh Airport, India
Leh airport is situated high in the Himalayas and experiences the extreme conditions of an airport in desert conditions at high altitude. The installed AWOS system was customized for the local conditions and included high quality weather sensors and solar power system with 5 day backup power supply. 05/04/2006 - Supply of tactical AWOS for IAF mission to Congo.
MTECH has recently completed supply of a tactical AWOS system for the IAF mission to the Congo. The system was selected for the accuracy of its sensors, ease of use and its rugged construction. The system will be deployed for the duration of the mission and then remain as a service for the local people of the Congo.
24/03/2006 - MTECH selected to supply AWOS for Juba Airport Sudan
MTECH Systems has been selected to supply a fully featured AWOS system for Juba airfield in Sudan. The system is to be entirely solar powered and will employ a full solar power station. As this AWOS utilizes high power requirement sensors such as forward scatter meters (for RVR), ceilometers (for cloud) and lightning detection the power capabilities of the power station needed to be carefully engineered by our solar power team. The system is due for final installation in August 2006.
15/03/2006 - AWOS for Jodhpur Airport, India installed successfully.
MTECH has delivered an AWOS system to Jodhpur airport in western India. The airport at Jodhpur is notable for its extremes of desert temperature. The solution delivered to this airport was specifically customized to withstand these conditions. The system deployed high specification weather sensors and the latest wireless communications technologies and computer touch screens. The system also included customized display software and solar power sub-system.

15/12/2004 - MTECH completes AWOS at Khartoum International Airport, Sudan
The MTECH AWOS installation for Khartoum International Airport has recently been completed. The system has been installed with full solar power option, two wind sites and redundant high accuracy pressure sensors. Touch screen displays for the control tower give the ATC controllers at Sudan's main international airport the weather data they need to land planes safely and efficiently.
