27/11/2013 - MTECH Systems Product Release - 4100-LSS Lightning Detector for Golf Courses
MTECH Systems is proud to announce the release of the latest addition to its range of lightning detection equipment, the 4100-LSS Lighting Storm Detector for Golf Courses. Golf courses are especially susceptible to lighting strike due to their open expanses and necessity for metal rods to be held aloft by the players as a normal part of the game. The 4100-LSS employs the latest integrated circuitry to provide a reliable, compact and cost effective way to assist with the protection of players, equipment and buildings when lightning storms are active in close proximity to the course. The addition of a custom package of configurable alarms, alerts, lights and horns allow the solution to be adapted to each customer’s individual needs. The sensor is enhanced by being fully built in green colouring which assists with integration of the technology into beautiful golf course environments. Further information on this new sensor can be found in the meteorology section of our website.

14/10/2013 - MTECH Systems Product Release - eMOR-2 Transmissometer
MTECH Systems is proud to announce the release of the latest generation of Transmissometer technology, the eMOR-2 Transmissometer. The eMOR-2 builds on the strengths of 5 previous generations of MTECH transmissometers with new advances that increase safety, reliability and serviceability. Of particular interest is the upgrade of the mast construction to use an aluminium lattice as described in ICAO's ANNEX 14 Volume I and Aerodrome Design Manual, Part 6, Frangibility. This design is far superior in respect to safety when compared to with sensors designed with dual concentric steel poles. The usage of the lattice structure makes the masts intrinsically frangible rather than relying on a failure element. Further information on this breakthrough sensor can be found here.
